I prefer my body care products to be fragrance free and the Cetaphil Ultra Gentle body wash is another great product from the brand (at a bargain price)!This body wash is well formulated, with no irritants and fragrances (ranks best on beautypedia, which I always use for guidance on cosmetics). The added aloe and vitamin B5 might seem nice ingredients, but since you rinse the body wash off I don't believe they have enough time to actually do something for the skin.The body wash has a gel-like consistency, thick, but somewhat almost translucent. For a product that's meant to be gentle, it suds well, does a creamy lather, while efficiently cleansing the skin and rinsing out easily. A little goes a long way, the 11.8oz bottle lasts me around 3 months.I have dry skin, so I always follow my shower with a moisturizer. But this body wash is gentle enough to soothe my skin and not leave it feeling stripped or drier.Although fragrance free, it has that typical powdery almost medical like faint scent (typical to Cetaphil ), which usually I don't even notice.The packaging is not really the greatest. The plastic bottle is quite thick, by the end of the bottle you really need to squeeze hard to get product out (especially since the consistency of the gel is thick); the cap is a little flimsy, doesn't always close well.
